Stamford YMCA brings Zumba, Yoga to Latham Park

Stamford’s Latham Park was full of activity this summer, becoming the stage for free outdoor Zumba and Yoga classes. The new program kicked off in July, drawing dance and yoga lovers of all levels to the park every Saturday morning.  It was made possible through a partnership with the Stamford YMCA and Downtown Special Services District.

This Saturday marked the last round of classes in the park, but YMCA Membership Director Steve Rosati says the Y hopes to bring the program back next summer, making it a yearly event. In the meantime, he says there are a variety of year-round programs offered at the Y open to everyone.
