It’s been almost two years since Eat for Equity touched down in Stamford. Started by RJ Mercede and Meg Dalton in October of 2012, the organization fundraises for local non-profits by hosting benefit dinners around the community.
Eat For Equity Stamford has raised thousands of dollars for other local organizations, but in August, the non-profit will be hosting its 10th community benefit dinner to fundraise for itself. Proceeds will benefit both the national Eat For Equity organization and the Stamford chapter.
The dinner will take place on Saturday, August 16 from 7 to 10 p.m. at 72 Little Hill Drive in Stamford. All are welcome to join with a suggested donation of $15 to $20, but guests are encouraged to bring what they can.
