Country music artist Hunter Hayes is coming to Stamford to perform, and you can see him at the Palace Theatre for free while helping those in need.
Fans who bring 5 cans of food to The Palace Box Office at 61 Atlantic Street beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 5th through Thursday, May 8th will receive one ticket to Hayes’ performance on Friday, May 9th. The food donations will go to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County as part of the singer's 24-hour Road Race to End Child Hunger tour.
The promotion will last only as long as supplies last. The Palace will also be collecting non-perishable foods the evening of the concert.
“The Palace has always been supportive of our fellow community organizations, including the American Red Cross and the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County,” said the theatre’s Producing Artistic Director, BT McNicholl. “With Hunter Hayes spotlighting child hunger, it is the perfect opportunity to partner with the food bank. People can feel good about helping others in their own community and see a fantastic show on the 9th."
Hayes is raising money for ConAgra Foods’ Child Hunger Ends Here program and working the break the Guinness World record for most concerts played in multiple cities in 24 hours.
