First Annual STEMFest at Mill River Park

 The first annual Stamford STEMFest will take place Saturday, April 26 at Mil River Park. The free event will include a variety of engaging activities, information, and displays centering on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. According to Stamford Public Schools, the goal of STEMFest is to build awareness about these disciplines. The event will demonstrate to students how fun STEM can be, show how these disciplines are inherent in every day life, and teach students about career and college opportunities. All students and parents are invited to attend. STEMFest will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (rain date April 27).
