It's a Stamford tradition honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

"This march has been going on for over 20 years," said Jack Bryant, president of the Stamford NAACP.

"Education on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. That's the main issue," said Bryant.

Step by step, city residents, officials and community leaders remembering Dr. King in an annual march.  Young and old, walking through Stamford.

This year, the MLK Planning Committee honored Stamford minority police officers as grand marshals.
