Friday afternoon, Republican candidate for mayor Michael Fedele shared his plans for improving education.
Part of his plan is adding more pre-school opportunities.
The former Lt. Governor also says he wants more parents to be able to enroll their children in magnet schools. Also, that there needs to be a long-term plan to address overcrowding.
If elected, Fedele pledged to attend all board of education meetings, and call for a comprehensive review of the curriculum.
Earlier Friday, Fedele toured Davenport Elementary School and Stamford High School.
