More than 5,000 people rallied at the state capital in Hartford Thursday demanding stricter guns laws. The movement, known as March For Change, took place Feb.14, the two-month anniversary of the tragic shooting in Newtown. Government officials and gun control advocates spoke at the rally, along with those who were personally affected by gun violence. Participants say they want assault weapons banned, limits on high capacity magazines, and background checks for all gun buyers. Marchers came from all parts of the state and the country for the cause. Although the crowd is gone, the debate on gun control will continue.
