Jamie Lee McIntyre, registered Dietitian at Grade A ShopRite, shared some healthy Valentine's Day Snack ideas for those who want to ditch the chocolates.
Chocolate Cherry Fudge Balls:
- 2/3 cups dried cherries
- 1 cup slivered unsalted almonds
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- salt
- 4 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 5-6 pitted dates
Fruit Kabobs & Chocolate Greek Yogurt Dip:
- Chopped fruit
- 1 serving plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. honey
- 1 drop vanilla extract
Swimming Strawberries:
- 2 sugar-free chocolate pudding packs
- Sliced frozen strawberries
- Whipped cream
