Carozza Fitness is hosting a benefit workout Saturday to raise money for the community of Newtown. The money raised will go to the Sandy Hook Parent Teacher Student Association to support those affected by the tragic school shooting. The Sandy Hook PTSA will help with counseling for families, future plans for Sandy Hook Elementary School, and a scholarship fund for the children of Sandy Hook. Owner of Carozza Fitness, Michael Carozza, says over 100 people are expected to participate with room for more. The participation fee is $20 per person and the public is invited. Carozza is also looking for more volunteers and judges for the event. For more information, or to get involved, email info@carozzafitness.com or call 203-561-0493. The event starts at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26.
