The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory that will be in effect from 7 p.m. tonight until 7 a.m. Tuesday. The NWS expects light snow and freezing rain tonight in parts of Northeast New Jersey, the Lower Hudson Valley of New York, and Southern Connecticut. The NSW predicts temperatures will drop to around 30 degrees with snow accumulation of up to 1 inch and a light accumulation of ice. Those traveling should expect slippery conditions, limited visibility, and use caution while driving. A Nor'Easter is expected in the area late Wednesday into Thursday.
