An early season snowstorm appears possible for Stamford Saturday. According to the National Weather Service (NWS) the storm could produce heavy, wet snow in amounts between four and eight inches.

The NWS has issued a winter storm warning which remains in effect from Saturday morning through late Saturday night. The warning calls for winds from 10-20 miles per hour with temperatures in the mid 30s.

Current predictions call for a mix of light snow and rain Saturday morning changing to all snow late Saturday afternoon. The snow could be moderate to heavy late Saturday afternoon into Saturday evening.
