"Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" Looking for Contestants

Auditions at Stamford's Connecticut Film Center

The long-running, iconic game show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” is returning to the Connecticut Film Center in Stamford, and area residents will have the chance to be a part of the show. “Millionaire” is searching for outstanding contestants and enthusiastic audience members for the 2015-2016 season, which premieres in national syndication in September 2015.

Open auditions will take place on May 7, 14 and 21, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the “Millionaire” production offices at the Connecticut Film Center (300 Stillwater Avenue). There are no sign-ups and admission to the auditions is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to the general contestant auditions, there will be a special session targeting movie buffs on May 21 at 7:00 p.m. for an upcoming “Movie Week” edition of “Millionaire. Area residents can also catch a bit of the “Millionaire” excitement by attending a taping of the show. Tapings will take place June 29 to August 21. Audience members must be at least 18 years old. As an added bonus, audience members will have an opportunity to audition for a future edition of the show while they’re at the studio. Tickets are free, and can be requested from the show’s website,
