Three small Connecticut companies are growing fast, and they shared their business strategies and plans for further success Tuesday at a showcase held by the Business Council of Fairfield County. Christopher Bruhl, President and CEOof the Business Council of Fairfield County, says it’s important to help these small businesses thrive, grow, and stay in the state.

Boathouse Beverage, Agency Labs, and Quadjobs are three Fairfield County-based businesses with their eye on the prize and the Business Council’s Growth Advisory Services program is helping to give them a leg up.

Boathouse beverage, based in Norwalk, launched in 2013 with the introduction of its Spiked Seltzer. Two years later, and the company has had rapid success, spreading to several different territories.

Greenwich based company QuadJobs was launched about 6 months ago. The web platform links college students with short-term employment opportunities while they’re in school. Co-founder Betsy O’Reilly says Quadjobs is beneficial to students, employers, and the economy.
