Forty Fiberglass Dinosaurs arrived to Stamford last month as plain white canvases.  But now, the dinos have been brought to life! Dinosaurs Rule! In Stamford Downtown is this year’s theme for the City’s annual outdoor sculpture exhibit and the project is well underway. Working in a donated space at 84 West Park Place, the talented artists chosen for the project are transforming the dinos into their own unique signature creations.

After the summer, the dinosaurs will be auctioned off to benefit Stamford EMS and the Stamford Police Foundation. On June 10, Stamford Downtown will host a kickoff celebration for Dinosaurs Rule at the Davenport, which will include tours of the outdoor exhibit. For an invitation, call 203-348-5285. To find out more visit
