It's a touchy subject for many, but on Thursday night members of the Stamford community gathered to talk about racism. Hosted by the Interfaith Council of Southwestern CT, the forum, called Moving Beyond Racism, brought a diverse group together at the Ferguson Library.

After watching a video on the subject, participants were encouraged to get into groups with people they didn't know to talk about race. State representatives and even Stamford's Mayor joined in on the conversation. This was the first of several forums the Interfatih Council will be hosting around Stamford on a range of topics.
