It's a workshop focused on engaging men in preventing sexual violence in their communities, and on Friday The Center for Sexual Assault Crisis Counseling and Education held its last one of the year.

This is the second year the Center has provided the statewide training, known as Where Do You Stand? CT.  The special program was brought to The Center through a collaboration with the Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Services and California based organization Men of Strength. It's the first coordinated statewide training for males within a state.

This week's 90-minute training included male leaders from Juvenile Probation, Kids in Crisis, and the Greenwich Police Department.

Setta Mushegian, Director of Crisis Counseling and Advocacy says The Center plans to continue the training in 2015 with greater outreach in the community. For more information about Where Do You Stand? CT and The Center, visit www.thecenter-ct.org or contact Setta Mushegian at s.mushegian@thecenter-ct.org
