Here's what's making new this week on It's Relevant:

Greenwich is getting into the Halloween spirit. On Tuesday, the Greenwich YMCA held its annual Halloween Bash. Decorations, pumpkins and games filled the gym as kids showed off their spooky costumes.

Fontier Communications is now serving AT&T customers in Connecticut. AT&T’s two billion dollar sale of its internet, phone and t-v services became effective just last week. On Tuesday, the merger was officially celebrated at its new headquarters in Stamford.

Students interested in studying abroad rushed to Norwalk on Tuesday. The Center for Global Studies held an international fair, giving students the chance to check out the growing number of study tours and exchange programs here in Connecticut.

And if you’re walking around Westport, you might notice purple ribbons hanging on Main Street.  It’s all in an effort to raise awareness for domestic violence. Selectman Jim Marpe held a ceremony on Thursday, officially marking the day as Domestic Violence Awareness Day.
