Artwalk Returns to Downtown

Two day event transforms Stamford into art exhibit

Stamford, CT | Added on June 26, 2014 At 03:15 PM

Artwalk in Stamford Downtown is back for a second year. The free, interactive event will transform the downtown into a diverse art exhibit for two days. The work of over 90 artists, sculptors, and photographers will be on display at more than 30 participating stores, restaurants, and galleries throughout downtown.

The event begins on Friday, June 27th with a kick-off party at the Palace Theatre from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Artwalk will take place until 9 p.m. On Saturday, June 28, patrons can enjoy the Artwalk from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The public can check in at the Artwalk Expo in Latham Park for a map highlighting the locations of exhibiting artists and live music. All art will be available for purchase and the majority will remain on display until July 7.
