Yerwood Center Still in Legal Battle

Status conference scheduled for June 30

The legal battle involving Stamford's Yerwood Center continues. In March, former employee Bonnie Campbell filed an injuntion against the Board of Directors and Interim Center Director Fernando Luis Alvarez for allegedly endangering the Center's future and failing to abide by the organization's bylaws. 

After a status conference at the courthouse with Campbell and lawyers on April 14, another meeting was scheduled for June 2. Today's status conference was postponed to Monday, June 30, after Alvarez's laywer informed the judge that Campbell's laywer was not able to attend.
