Many children are off from school this week and enjoying the great outdoors at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center.  The museum's annual "Take a Hike Week" features nature walks for kids and adults.

Lisa Monachelli, the museum's education program manager, says it's a great way for families to explore.

If you're looking for other ways to get outdoors this week, the museum is hosting its 10th annual egg hunt Saturday.  Children six and under can bring their baskets and look for hundreds of eggs hidden on the farm.

For more information about the egg hunt and tomorrow's hiking schedule, visit their website,  "Take a Hike Week" ends Friday.
