That's the sound of Stamford Monday night after the Huskies defeated Kentucky, 60 to 54.

This is viewer video sent in of fans watching the game at McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon -- showing how sweet victory can be, cheering for the men's basketball team.

UConn is the first seventh-seed to win the national championship.  It's their 4th championship in the last 15 years.

UConn Stamford students, also celebrating Monday night at a viewing party on campus were showing their support.  Here's a picture on the school's Twitter account.

We spoke with those students earlier in the day Monday, who have total faith in their teams.

"As long as they play their game and keep on playing the game that they've been playing, UConn's going to win," said Christopher Mizia, a freshman at UConn Stamford.

"Those teams need to win and I think they're going to do it.  I know they're going to do it," said Suraj Krishna, a sophomore at UConn Stamford.

Now it's the women's turn.  The lady Huskies and Notre Dame, both going into the game Tuesday night undefeated.  It's the first time that's happened in NCAA history. The game starts at 8:30 p.m.
