Mock PPT Meeting To Be Held Thursday, Jan. 30

Educational presentation on students with an IEP plan

On Thursday, January 30, Stamford Coalition of Parents Expecting Success (SCOPES) and Abilis will host a mock Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meeting. A panel will re-enact two versions of the same Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meeting for a student with a disability.

 The event will be run by Attorney Anne Treimanis and include members of Stamford Public School’s administrative staff such as Wayne Holland and Beryl Williams. Rabbi Josh Hammerman; Abilis Director of youth Services Karen Feder; and the Stamford JCC Inclusion Specialist, Dinushka DeSilva, will also participate.
