The public is invited to participate in two upcoming meetings held by the South Western Regional Planning Agency (SWRPA) and the South Western Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (SWRMPO).
On Wednesday, January 15th, the organizations will hold their annual combined Legislative Briefing. The meeting will bring together SWRPA's Board, the chief elected municipal officials and transit officials representing the SWRMPO, and State legislators representing the eight municipalities served by SWRPA and the SWRMPO (Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Weston, Westport and Wilton).

On Thursday, January 23, the organizations will meet to discuss transportation and non-transportation policy, programs and projects that concern the South Western Region. Key agenda items are legislative priorities and the status of the merger of the Housatonic and South Western Regions.
