For some, 2014 means running into a new year.

"Run every day or run as often as you can," said Brian Murphy.

"There aren't any excuses," says Troy Burk, owner of Fleet Feet Sports Stamford.

It's a runner's motto Troy Burk lives by.

"I go running almost every day and when I sort of look at the beginning of my day.   There's always 30 minutes I can dedicate to running," said Burk.

The Fleet Feet Sports Stamford owner says when it comes to getting fit in the new year, "get moving."  And that's where he says Fleet Feet steps in.

The store offers training programs for the beginner to advanced runner, as well as weekly and monthly free runs and other programs.

Almost crossing 2013's finish line, runners are setting goals for the new year.
