Free Microchip Clinic for Pets Saturday

OPIN, Bankwell host Project Chip'n

Stamford, CT | Added on October 25, 2013 At 01:41 PM

Saturday, October 26, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Outreach to Pets In Need (OPIN) will be holding a free Microchip Clinic at Bankwell at 612 Bedford Street.  No appointment is necessary.

Project Chip’n is a community outreach program offered by OPIN.  Each pet will receive a microchip with lifetime registration in HomeAgain’s registry to give him or her the best chance of coming back home should a disaster strike or if lost or stolen.  The chip implant take only a few seconds to administer and the ID lasts a lifetime.

In addition to microchipping pets, OPIN will have dogs at the event looking for homes, face painting and Halloween photos for kids.

Cats must be secured in carriers for their safety. Dogs must be leashed.
