Buddy is a three-year-old male dog in need of a home. Laurie Hollywood, director of Stamford Animal Care & Control, says Buddy has been at the shelter for 2 years. Hollywood says the stress of being in the shelter has taken its toll on Buddy and he needs a home soon. Hollywood says she believes Buddy has been abused in the past and is timid around people. She says Buddy warms up quickly and loves being around and pleasing people. Buddy is neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Hollywood says Buddy loves the car and doesn’t bark much. Buddy is house trained and walks well on a leash. Hollywood says he’s a great jogging partner. Buddy is good with other dogs but Hollywood wouldn’t recommend him in a household with younger children. Buddy is gentle and enjoys being pet and playing with toys. For Buddy and pets like him, visit Stamford Animal Care & Control at 201 Magee Avenue or call 977-4437.
