In Stamford, officials are still investigating the cause of a house explosion that occurred on Webbs Hill Road on Tuesday.  They say a 500 pound propane tank that was underground near the home could be the cause. Though there were no fatalities, the homeowner was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. 

In Norwalk, in light of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, the Maritime Aquarium is hosting Fairfield County's first public Sukkah tent.  Sukkot is a seven-day Jewish holiday, also known as the feast of the Booths, where members of the faith rest, and eat together under a temporary dwelling place.  The Sukkah is located outside the seal exhibit overlooking the riverfront courtyard and open to everyone during aquarium hours from September 19 through 25.

In Greenwich, first Selectman Peter Tesei addressed business leaders and community members on Wednesday at the annual State of the Town Luncheon.Tesei spoke on a range of topics including the new Community First initiative which will train employees to better handle customer service, harbor management issues and school bullying concerns.
