Taking out books from the library is now as easy as a touch of a button. All thanks to the Ferguson Library's new mobile app.
"It allows you to easily search the library's catalog for books, DVDs, music that you might want to check out, place a hold on," said Alice Knapp, the director of user services at the Ferguson Library.
Readers can also check out e-books right to their phones or tablets.
"It's at your fingertips," said Knapp.
All you need is your library card. Then you can have access to materials at any time, including the library's events, and database.
Knapp says the app has over 112,000 remote users The library's e-books catalog has close to 5,000 titles available.
And with summer reading in full swing, finding a good book is made simple.
