Reporting a pot hole or downed wire is now just a tap away on your smart phone.

"This is about improving our ability to respond to customers concerns and complaints," said Mayor Harry Rilling.

Wednesday afternoon, the City of Norwalk officially unveiled their new customer service app - Click & Request.

"Allowing people to feel 'hey, I have been heard. The problem has been addressed rather quickly' and so they start to become more engaged in making sure that they things in their community are taken care of," said Mayor Rilling.

The app allows residents to report issues, including GPS location, that are then sent to the appropriate city department in a few easy steps. Every report is connected to the device that reported it to keep users informed.

Users can track the progress of their requests on the app and online, as well as create alerts for their neighborhood.

Click & Request is available for free download on Apple & Android devices. To learn more about Click & Request, you can visit the City's website (www.norwalkct.org).
