Stamford Primary Election Results


16 percent participation for three State-wide primary races

The polls are closed and the results are in from Stamford's Registrar's office.  Out of 12,470 registered voters, 2,000 cast their ballot in today's primary election.  That leaves 10,470 who did not vote.

Tom Foley has won the primary and will run against Dannel Malloy in the general election November 4.  They'll face off a second time in the race for governor.  

Here are tonight's official numbers among Stamford voters:

Governor

Tom Foley -- 1,165

John McKinney -- 1,007

 

Lieutenant Govenor

Penny Bacchiochi -- 597

Heather Somers -- 977

David Walker -- 557

 

Comptroller

Sharon McLaughlin -- 1,375

Angel Cadena -- 572
