The Center for Sexual Assault Crisis Counseling and Education ("The Center") is presenting Rock Against Rape, an awareness concert to help end sexual violence in Lower Fairfield County.
Rock Against Rape is a benefit concert featuring performances from The Shape, Talking to Walls, Circadian Rhythm, and an acoustic set by Matt Mullarkey. It promises to be an electric night of high-energy music, aimed at engaging the community in The Center’s quest to end sexual violence in Lower Fairfield County.
The concert will take place Friday, August 15, at 8 p.m. at the Ponus Yacht Club at 69 Dyke Lane in Stamford. Tickets are $10 and are available at http://goo.gl/QL0pqA or at the door. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Center’s free sexual assault crisis counseling and its prevention education programs. Sponsors include Stamford Hospital, Ponus Yacht Club, and DiChello Distributors.
