Children of all ages enjoyed a performance today by the National Circus Project at the Palace Theatre in Stamford.
Organizers say the interactive show played out on the theatre's main stage for an audience of about 700 people.
"They bring kids up onto the stage, they teach them how to spin plates and juggle and things like that," said Carol Bryan, the Palace Theatre's director of education.
"Their mission is to teach circus arts to get kids excited about performing, to get them excited about going to live performances, so it's some of everything," said Bryan.
Since 1984, the arts in education program has presented more than 10,000 shows and hosted more than 50,0000 workshops.
