Stamford residents filled the yacht club at Cummings Marina to weigh in on what improvements should be made to the marina, Cummings Park and West Beach.  The community meeting is the first of several as part of continuing developments of Stamford's master plan for the parks.

The city, working with Stantec Consulting Services Inc.,  asked residents for their input Tuesday night about the future of the 79-acre Cummings park and 26-acre West beach.  Along with amenities and physical improvements, the city says the plan is addressing sustainability, operations, maintenance and utilization and resiliency.

The city says a website where residents can follow along with this plan will be made available soon.
