Brien McMahon hosts clothing drive on Saturday

Donate unwanted items just in time for spring cleaning

Norwalk, CT | Added on April 21, 2014 At 05:06 PM

Brien McMahon High School will host a semi-annual clothing drive on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. just in time for spring cleaning.

The drive will be held at the Center for Global Studies entrance in effort to raise money for the Parents Club program, student scholarships, its post-grad party, teachers funds, as well as student clubs and activities.

The school is accepting clothing, coats, belts, handbags, linens, pillows, backpacks, luggage, stuffed animals, shoes, bicycles and other sporting equipment. All footwear must be packaged separately.

The drive’s co-chair Mary Flynn says all the items will be collected the following Monday morning by Fashion Republic.

Brien McMahon High School is located at 300 Highland Ave.

All donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be provided on request during drop-off.
