Students at Rippowam International Baccalaureate School are collecting gently used books for children in Africa who don’t have books in their schools. The students will be collecting children’s books and adult classics to send to Africa, with the help of Kids Helping Kids and The Children’s Fellowship, an organization that donates clothes, books and toys to impoverished students in Africa

“We are collecting these books because we want children in Africa to be educated, too,” said sixth grader Judemalle Joseph in a release.

“We can change the world by working together,” said sixth grade student Sarah Jaworski.

Books can be dropped off at Triple A at 1101 High Ridge Rd., Bankwell at 612 Bedford Street, All About Kids Dental at 127 Greyrock Place, and The Dojo at 1030 Long Ridge Rd. throughout the month of April.
