SoNo Library Celebrates National Poetry Month


Special event April 12 open to public

 The South Norwalk Library is celebrating National Poetry Month on Saturday, April 12 at noon.

According to a press release from the South Norwalk Branch, celebrate National Poetry Month by “reading one of your favorite poems and discussing its poet or recite your own original poem” 

Following poetry discussion, the movie "Sylvia", starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Daniel Craig will be shown. The movie details the life of a poet Sylvia Plath and her relationship with her husband, poet Ted Hughes.

The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Registration is available online or by calling 203-899-2790 ext. 15902
