Westport Police and PBA Host Toy Drive


Annual event will benefit "Newtown Kindness"

The Westport Police Department Local Union #2080 and the Police Benevolent Association will again sponsor their annual Toy Drive to provide toys for underprivileged children throughout Fairfield County. 

This year the drive will partner with "Newtown Kindness," an organization that aims "to promote kindness as a guiding principle of humanity." The organizers of the Toy Drive are asking for new, unopened, and unwrapped toys. Westport Police Officers will be collecting toys, as well as cash donations, in the parking lot of The Athletic Shoe Factory as well as in the Westport Police Department.

Where: The Athletic Shoe Factory, 1560 Post Road East 

When: December 7, 8, 14, 15 between 9:00am and 5:00pm

The Westport Police Department, located at 50 Jesup Road, will accept donations any time until Sunday, December 15 at 3:00pm.
