A young chef's passion for cooking earned him a spot on the food network's new show, Kids Cook-Off. After filming in California for two weeks, Hunter Zampa is back in Stamford, and he's not slowing down in the kitchen.

Hunter says he was chosen for Kids-Cook Off after his audition tape for a different show caught the attention of producers. The 13-year-old was one of eight young chefs competing in a series of cooking challenges to win a web series on foodnetwork.com. The show aired in September, and although Hunter wasn't the winner, he says the experience was unforgettable.
