DHS soccer team dedicates game to cancer awareness and prevention
Darien, CT | Added on October 09, 2013 At 03:04 PM

On Friday, October 11th, Darien High School’s boys varsity soccer team will head against their longtime rival, New Canaan High School. This year, the team is dedicating the game to the fight against metastatic breast cancer.

The players will be wearing pink shoelaces and pink wristbands and there will be a bake sale during the game. All proceeds raised from the event will go towards funding metastatic breast cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in honor of Lisa Adams, a Darien resident, wife, and Mom.
