Kick off your Columbus Day with a childrens' celebration of all things creepy and crawly. Activities will include creating bug catchers filled with spiders, baking Halloween “earth cakes” with crawly gummy worms, making spooky felt masks and life-size skeleton heads, and even listening to stories about Mary Staples, a 17th century Westport resident who was once accused of being a witch! The pre-Halloween party will take place from 10am to 2pm for children ages 5 to 12. The cost is $40 for members, $50 for non-members.
