Metro North has announced that regular New Haven Line Service will resume on Monday morning, October 7. A new electric substation at Mount Vernon has been successfully tested and will allow full power for lines that have not been fully operational since September 25.
Regular riders who have monthly or weekly passes for the New Haven Line are entitled to a credit toward future passes. The MTA board approved the credit on October 1. Local officials are looking to Con Edison to underwrite the cost. Any rider with a pass that was valid between September 25 and October 7 is eligible.
