President Barack Obama addressed the nation Saturday seeking congressional approval for U.S. military intervention in Syria. The Syrian regime allegedly used chemical weapons in a fatal attack against its own people on August 21.

After the announcement, It’s Relevant took to the streets of Stamford to see what the community thinks about potential U.S. involvement. Some people were strongly for or against the President’s stance. For others, the situation wasn’t so black and white.

Congress is expected to debate the issue upon its return from summer recess on September 9.
