David Martin says he has a plan to make Stamford government more open and ethical.  The democratic candidate for mayor met with residents and community leaders Wednesday to share his plan.

Martin's plan includes:

-A "mayor's night out" -- that would call for regular visits to  Stamford neighborhoods.

-Virtual town halls online

-Record all public board meetings for the city's website

-Post all public documents online

-Involve citizens in the city's budget

-Work with city employees on the front lines

-and have open meetings with the board of representatives steering committee.

Martin, endorsed by the Democratic City Committee, will run against state rep. William Tong, in a Sept. 10 primary.
