In this episode Bob sits down with the founders of Trek Medics International, Jason Friesen and Mike Samuels.  Trek Medics International is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the emergency medical response infrastructure in developing countries.

Jason and Mike describe a software they are developing called Beacon, which their website describes as: "...an SMS-based dispatching software designed specifically for communities where consistent ambulance response is not available. Beacon addresses the response gap by allowing local responders to quickly locate, treat and transport emergency victims to the hospital."
