"Vegetables and the fruit are really fresh; they were just picked," said Sally Sacks, a Stamford resident.
"Everything is so fresh and green," said Norwalk resident Mary Ellen Fontaine.
It's all here at Stamford's Farmer's Market - where area residents can buy food straight from the farm. Like Smith's Acres.
"Eating food from the farm is the best. That's why I do this," said Doug Braun, who works for Smith's Acres farm in Niantic, CT.
Doug Braun works for the farm in Niantic. From there, he delivers the harvest to High Ridge Shopping Center.
"I buy all my fruit and vegetables here all summer long," said Sacks.
There's also products like homemade soap. Maura Kallaway makes her soaps right in Stamford.
The market is open on High Ridge Road Wednesdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will run through November.
