After three years, Stamford's fireworks are back.
Wednesday, people packed Cummings Beach, in red, white and blue, celebrating America's birthday.
"It's always a July 4 tradition, so it's nice to see it again," said Emily Fitzpatrick, a Stamford resident.
"I'm really excited because I missed it a lot. It was one big event that we'd come to every year, spread out the picnic area and have fun," said Cathy Austin, a Stamford resident.
The display was put on by Fireworks by Grucci. SL Green Realty Corp., Garden Homes Management, and Fairway Market helped support the event, and O&G Industries provided the barge services to launch the fireworks.
