Fifteen works of art from Stamford’s high school students will be now on permanent display at the Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa. A reception was held Monday to unveil the new student art exhibit, which is on display in one of the hotels conference rooms.

Erik Bieder, an art teacher for Stamford Public Schools, says the Marriott chose the final pieces out of more than 30 submissions. Five pieces of art represent each of the City’s three public high schools; Stamford High, Westhill High, and AITE.

Ron Antonucci, general manager of the Marriott, says the Marriott plans to continue the partnership with the schools and expand the program.
