For two days, the public is invited to take a walk through six diverse gardens in Stamford. Sunday was the first day of the Bartlett Arboretum’s Fifth Annual Spring Garden Tour in which visitors can tour the themed gardens at the Bartlett and five gardens in the area.
Each garden on the tour has a Certified Master Gardener on hand to guide visitors and answer questions. Patrons may also find musicians playing in the gardens or painters creating art.
Four of the gardens on the spring tour are privately owned gardens, surrounding the homes of those who maintain them.
Organizers say more than 100 tickets have been sold for the tour, which also serves as a fundraiser for the Bartlett Arboretum. Day two of the tour will take place Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes a benefit luncheon and marketplace boutique. For tickets and more information visit www.bartlettarboretum.org
