Two high school students spent their day on the set of The Maury Show at Stamford Media Center Thursday, shadowing NBC Universal staff and learning firsthand everything that goes into making the show a success.
The Cheshire High School juniors were granted the opportunity to visit the show as part of their school's job shadow program. The high school contacted the Connecticut Film Office after the students showed an interest in the entertainment industry.
The students were able to witness everything that goes into producing a Maury episode from start to finish. The episode the students shadowed featured animal expert Jack Hannah, a frequent guest on Maury. Hannah and Maury Povich had some advice for today's youth. Povich says it's important to be relentless when pursuing a goal and shared the most important thing he learned along the way
