Stamford Board of Finance member David Martin announced Monday he’s joining the race for Mayor.
From 1987 to 2009, the Democrat served on the city’s board of representatives and was president from 2001 to 2009. He was elected to the Board of Finance in 2011 and serves as the Chairman of the Financial Policy Committee.
Martin says his vision for Stamford’s future would focus on economic opportunity, education, public safety, infrastructure and sound government.
Martin is the fourth democratic candidate seeking the mayoral seat.
